Jeff Wisotzkey has been playing bass guitar since 1979 when he first started playing as a teenager. He has played is several bands with many different musicians. “The amount of work that goes into practice and preparation for our gigs is surprising. It is truly rewarding when we come off of a good, solid show that people seemed to have really enjoyed”.

Jeff has several basses in his collection including a two Schecter Stiletto basses, a Peavey Grind, and Fender P-Bass, an Ibanez Ergodyne and an acoustic Michael Kelly Studio Custom Bass. For most gigs you will see him playing the P-Bass.

Jeff’s first love is the blues and really enjoys playing the blues tunes in the Close Call set list. Jeff also enjoys just turning it up and letting it fly on some of the classic rock songs that “get people dancing”.

In 2007 Jeff has the privilege of meeting and spending a little time with one of the blues greats that he admires most, Buddy Guy. On most nights you will hear a couple of Buddy Guy songs.
