Close Call Band

Bob Lutz is Close Call's vocalist. Bob has been singing since the first time he heard a song on the radio and tried to emulate it. Growing up, Bob sang in both the school chorus and the church choir, but Close Call is the first band he has been part of. The band's bass player, Jeff and his wife Bertie, heard Bob sing in a karaoke contest and asked if he would come try out for Close Call. The rest, as they say, is history. Bob's major musical influences include the Eagles, Eric Clapton and Led Zeppelin, but Bob appreciates all types of music. Since joining the band in January 2007, Bob has realized how competitive the music business is, and how much practice and hard work it takes to get ahead.
